The EN-761 type material breakage alarm is suitable for sulfuric acid production plants using pyrite as raw material. In the process of producing sulfuric acid from pyrite as raw material, due to excessive moisture or viscosity in the raw material, the outlet of the feeding bin may be blocked, resulting in material breakage in the boiling furnace and overall process imbalance. The EN-761 type material breakage alarm is designed for this purpose and can promptly sound an alarm when there is a material breakage in the boiling furnace. This instrument adopts the working principle of capacitive proximity switch. The working process is as follows: when the feeder is running normally, the feeding amount on the raw material conveyor belt is always maintained at the thickness required by the process. When the feeding amount decreases to about 10 millimeters, the proximity switch output is cut off. At this time, the relay (proximity switch load) stops working, the contacts return to the initial state, that is, the normally closed contacts are connected, and the sound oscillator starts working, emitting sound and light alarm signals. After the material supply returns to normal, the proximity switch output conducts, the relay works, the normally closed contacts disconnect, and the audio part loses power and stops alarming.
