The JD100V cone flowmeter, represented by orifice plate, nozzle, Venturi tube, and averaging tube, has undergone a long development process and made important contributions to flow rate in a certain period of time. However, people always feel a bit regretful when using the above flow sensors because it has not solved a series of problems such as low accuracy, narrow measurement range, easy wear, high on-site installation conditions, and cannot measure mixed phase flow, dirty flow, etc. In view of this, many flow experts at home and abroad are committed to the research and development of new differential pressure flow sensors to make up for the shortcomings of orifice plates, nozzles, Venturi tubes, and averaging tubes. Various special throttling elements are emerging one after another, and V-cone flow sensors are among the best. It also uses throttling effect to measure flow rate. Compared with other throttling fluids, it changes the throttling layout from traditional center hole throttling to annular throttling. That is, the V-cone sensor uses a streamlined cone suspended at the center of the pipeline to gradually contract the fluid to the inner wall of the pipeline. This novel throttling effect makes it have self rectifying, self-cleaning, and self-protection characteristics. From a large number of actual on-site usage situations, the flow measurement effect of the V-cone sensor is better than other differential pressure sensors.
