The F400N series variable area flowmeter is made of high-quality polypropylene material through mechanical processing, polished to a crystal like finish, with internal parts resistant to corrosion and wear, a sturdy and well assembled adapter, and a fluororubber O-ring seal. The permanent scale is printed on the flowmeter housing via wire mesh, making it easy to read directly in front of the float.

In addition to standard specifications, users can choose variable area flow meters with other configurations and flow ranges. Please specify the required installation configuration, fluid to be measured, and measurement range when placing an order. The optional reading units are GPM (gallons per minute), LPM (liters per minute), or SCFM (cubic feet per minute).

The F400N series variable area flowmeter is tested and calibrated using water or air. If it is used to measure other chemicals, please fully consider its applicability to avoid damaging the flowmeter.

Installation Guide
1. Variable area flow meters must be installed in a strictly vertical plane to ensure measurement accuracy.
2. Seal all pipe threads with Teflon (or similar) tape, and do not use PVC adhesive or pipe coating on polypropylene materials, as even smoke may cause cracking. If installing a variable area flowmeter on a glued pipeline, wait until all glued joints are completely dry and the smoke inside the pipeline has been cleared. Do not use pliers or other similar tools to clamp the flow meter, and do not tighten it too tightly.
3. When installing walls, floors, or ceilings, they should be carefully aligned and stable. If necessary, it is recommended to use suitable brackets to keep the pipes aligned and prevent vibration.
4. Valve: Avoid installing in systems where there may be a surge in flow, as the surge in flow can cause the float to impact the stopper and damage the flow meter. Electromagnetic valves or other quick opening valves cannot be used unless protective measures are taken for the float flowmeter. If necessary, a surge chamber can be installed, which is useful in high-voltage start-up situations.
5. The maximum working pressure should not exceed the PSI value at the recommended fluid temperature.
