Product Introduction
The MagneRule Plus magnetostrictive liquid level gauge is a high-precision liquid level measurement instrument launched by Lucas Schaevitz in the United States. It uses the principle of magnetostriction as a high-precision ultra long stroke absolute position measurement sensor. It can not only measure the linear displacement of moving objects, but also be used to measure the liquid level of various media; Simultaneously providing displacement and velocity simulation signals of moving objects (liquid level), flexible power supply methods, and extremely convenient multiple wiring methods can meet various measurement, control, and detection requirements.
working principle
The structure of a magnetostrictive linear displacement (liquid level) sensor is shown in the following figure, which consists of a non-magnetic stainless steel tube (measuring rod), a magnetostrictive wire (waveguide), a movable magnetic ring, and electronic components.
The pulse generator generates waveguide pulses, which are transformed and converted into current pulses propagating along the waveguide line by the continuous device inside the electronic component. The starting pulse propagates along the waveguide line, and the generated magnetic field is added to the inherent magnetic field vector of the active magnetic ring to form a spiral magnetic field, generating instantaneous torsional force, causing the waveguide line to twist and generate tension pulses. This pulse is transmitted back along the waveguide line at a fixed speed, generating induced voltage pulses at both ends of the coil, which are called termination pulses. The measured displacement is accurately determined by measuring the time between the starting pulse and the termination pulse.
