ZJ, ZJB, ZJC, ZJBC Roots vacuum pump is a type of rotary solid displacement vacuum pump, also known as a mechanical booster pump. It is currently one of the main pumping equipment for obtaining medium and high vacuum. Its working principle is similar to Roots blower, which uses two "8" - shaped rotors to rotate synchronously inside the pump casing to complete suction and exhaust.
The difference between ZJB and ZJBC Roots vacuum pumps with overflow valves and ZJ and ZJC Roots vacuum pumps is that the ZJB and ZJBC pumps have inlet and outlet ports connected, and a self weight valve is vertically installed on the channel to maintain the pressure difference between the exhaust port and the inlet port within a controllable value, which is the maximum pressure difference allowed for reliable pump operation. Therefore, this type of valve is actually an overload automatic protection valve.
ZJC and ZJBC Roots vacuum pumps are the second-generation Roots vacuum pumps independently developed and designed by our company. It has small size, light weight, smooth operation, and low noise. Vertical and lateral flow channels, low leakage rate. Skeleton oil seals and mechanical seals can be freely selected. Inject protective gas into the internal seal to prevent corrosion. Air cooling and water cooling methods can be used to meet different working conditions requirements. The overflow valve of the ZJBC type Roots vacuum pump with overflow valve is a built-in structure, and the appearance is no different from that of the ZJC type.
2、 Purpose:
The ZJ, ZJB, ZJC, and ZJBC Roots vacuum pumps are widely used in vacuum degassing, vacuum melting, vacuum surface treatment in the metal and non-metal materials industry, as well as space simulation in aerospace, low-density wind tunnel testing, and manufacturing of electrical equipment and vacuum freeze-drying equipment. After being configured in series with water ring vacuum pumps and liquid ring vacuum pumps, this pump is more suitable for vacuum polymerization, reaction, decomposition in the chemical industry, and vacuum distillation, vacuum drying, vacuum crystallization and other processes in the food industry.
3、 Characteristics
1. It can have a large pumping speed in a wide pressure range (1-1.3 × 102 Pa).
2. The pump chamber is oil-free, avoiding oil vapor pollution of the vacuum system.

4. The mechanical friction loss is small, so the driving power is low.
5. Easy to maintain and repair, low cost, long lifespan.
6. Suitable for sudden deflation of vacuum systems.
7. Can extract condensable gases.
8. It cannot be used alone and must be equipped with a front-end pump. It is not allowed to start under atmospheric pressure. It can only be started when the inlet pressure of the Roots pump is pumped to the allowable starting pressure by the front-end pump. Pre stage pumps are generally oil sealed mechanical pumps, liquid ring vacuum pumps, such as water ring pumps and oil ring pumps.
